We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Lead Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer
Employment type: Full Time
Accurately interprete client needs for development of designs and scoping of projects.
Develop engineering designs in line with international Codes & Standards / Regulatory Guidelines.
Takes leading role in all detailed design and FEED studies
Liaison with client discipline representatives to establish technical direction where not provided by codes and standards.
Provide scope definition, estimation and progress control of all discipline engineering activities
Planning of man hour budgets, schedules, manpower loadings and staffing requirements by skill and experience, to satisfy project requirements and direction given by the Engineering Manager.
Liaison with other discipline Lead Engineers on technical issues and engineering matters
Assist asset/client Lead Project Engineers in the definition of engineering outputs and timely production of deliverables.
Co-ordination and preparation of input to essential multidiscipline documents as defined by client / contract.
Develop procedures / work instructions for the discipline.
Mentor less experienced Engineers, ensuring they acquire the required learning and exposure
Provide required information throughout the lifecycle of a project, from proposal through implementation.
Develop sizing information for equipment (compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, distillation columns, separators, reactors, etc.) and provide information in the form of equipment data sheets
Provide technical expertise to the project execution team
Support the Account Manager (when requested) in discussion of technical details with the Business Development team and/or client.
Responsible for the implementation of the Quality Management System for continuous improvement and satisfaction of applicable regulatory and customer requirements.
Requisite Qualification And Experience
A Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering discipline, membership of Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) or COREN is essential.
Must have at least 7 years work experience in a similar function. Must have up to 3 years’ experience leading other engineers.
